During its many years of activity, U.N.C.L.A. has seen several other Unions and Guild Associations rising only to disappear. Those Unions had often criticized U.N.C.L.A.'s measured political approach which seemed to them lacking in enterprise and involvement. Nevertheless, it is thanks to U.N.C.L. A.’s consistent activities that today's composers and songwriters have been able to reach such a level of security and dignity in their profession.
Throughout its long history, our Union has been keen on new ideas while firmly against any discrimination.
U.N.C.L.A.'s philosophy can be summed up in its motto:
Working with the Composers and Songwriters and for Composers and Songwriters.
Representing all composers and songwriters, however established or emerging. Those who forged the history of the Italian pop song and those who are doing it today.
ENROLLMENT FEE FOR U.N.C.L.A.
AND NATIONAL ASSISTANCE FUND
Enrolment fees and members' free donations are U.N.C.L.A.'s only source of income.
U.N.C.L.A.’s annual membership fee is
16,00 Euro.
Enrolment fee for one year for the National Assistance Fund is
16,00 Euro.
